For over 25 years, this world-class event has given guests from far and wide the opportunity to get out and explore the Canadian Rockies, all while embracing the winter season. The Ice Magic Festival has attracted 30,000+ visitors each year from all around the globe and continually delights audiences of all ages with stunning artwork made completely out of ice.

All guests who book Banff accommodations during Ice Magic, January 16 – 27, 2019, will receive discounted Ice Magic ticket prices to the festival.
Tickets are only required to visit the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise lakeside Competition Carving Site during peak visitation on Saturday, January 19 and 26 and Sunday January 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. All other dates and times, the carving site is free to enter and experience the magic.
