Primary Function

To be responsible for serving guests at the bar as well as fulling drink orders for both the lounge and dining room servers. Also, responsible for the restocking of the liquor and wine racks at the end of the shift.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Duties and Responsibilities
    • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
    • Maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and taking steps to have them removed (if necessary).
    • Keep the bar area clean and organized always
    • Complete an inventory at the end of the shift
    • Mix and build all drinks per the recipes provided to maintain company standards
    • Make drinks for servers at an efficient work pace that keeps the guest and the servers satisfied always.
    • Take the orders from the guests seated at the bar and ring them into the POS immediately.
    • Receive payment and complete a cash out at the end of the shift.
    • Washing and polishing the glassware as it is returned to the bar.
    • Anticipate the guests needs and follow the “half-full” rule when offering another drink.
    • Must be able to do basic math to make the correct change for the guest
    • Must be able and willing to bartend at functions in addition to their regular duties.
    • Should have the ability to multi-task to fulfill several orders in a short time frame.
    • Any other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of Squirrel an asset
  • Serving it Right certificate required
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Must have the ability to work all shifts Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (AM, PM, MID Shifts)
  • Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • To be able to endure long periods of standing (sitting, bending and lifting  (up to 30lbs) may be required )
