Room Attendant

Primary Function

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and courteously. Contribute to a positive guest experience through excellent service and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, removing trash, and refreshing amenities
  • Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures in rooms and public areas
  • Identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Report and handle Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures
  • Manage laundry, garbage, recycling, and cleaning supplies efficiently
  • Prepare cleaning equipment and restock carts at the end of each shift
  • Support team members in completing shared workloads
  • Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed guest expectations
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including staff bathrooms, gym bathrooms, and main lodge bathrooms
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with guests and fellow staff members
  • Accurately track work hours by signing in and out each shift
  • Present a professional appearance with a clean-shaven face and tidy uniform
  • Comply with all safety procedures and protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Experience
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Exceptional attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Team player with problem-solving abilities
  • Responsible, punctual, and dependable work ethic
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in all weather conditions
