Directions to Emerald Lake Lodge

Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1km west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 km until you see a sign that says ‘Overnight Guest Parking.’ Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call our front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick you up and bring you to the main lodge. At this time, we ask all guests to wear face masks while inside the shuttle.

*Please note the shuttle is used in regulation with Parks Canada to reduce the impact of vehicles near Emerald Lake.

For transportation from Calgary to the mountains, and around the mountain areas, please contact Banff Transportation. For current conditions view our Lodge Cam which overlooks Emerald Lake, as well as  webcams placed throughout Banff and Lake Louise.

*Please note there is no cell phone reception at Emerald Lake Lodge, and is limited in Yoho National Park. There is WIFI available in the main lodge.

National Park Passes

CRMR owns three mountain lodges in the Canadian National Parks. Anyone entering the parks must purchase a park pass.  The rate is $9.80 per day for 1 adult, $19.60 per day for a family or group, or $136.40 a year for a family or group. Find out more from the Parks Canada website. To purchase a Park Pass, please visit the Banff National Park Gate or one of the Visitor Centres. *Always remember to be ‘Bear Aware’ while in the National Parks. Learn more
