HOW TO GET TO TUNNEL MOUNTAIN

To get to Tunnel Mountain in Banff, you’ll need to head towards the Bow River Valley in Banff National Park. The mountain is almost entirely enclosed by the town of Banff at the junction of Spray River and the Bow River, making it easily accessible to visitors; especially for those staying on the resorts on Tunnel Mountain.

If you’re heading westbound on the #1 Trans-Canada Highway (from Calgary or Canmore), take the first exit into Banff. (Banff Minnewanka Loop exit). Take your first left up Tunnel Mountain Drive. From the Town of Banff, turn right up Wolf Street and then left on Otter Street, keeping right to stay on Tunnel Mountain Drive. Continue for approximately 3 km – a short distance from the mountain town.
