In the spirit of respect, truth and reconciliation the Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts would like to acknowledge that we live, work and play on traditional territories Stoney Nakoda, Blackfoot, Tsuut’ina Nations as well as the Ktunaxa, Secwepemc, Mountain Cree, Metis Region 3, Metis Nation BC located within Yoho and Banff National Parks (Banff, Lake Louise and Field British Columbia).

We believe it is important to understand this land and to foster relationships and reconciliation with celebrating the place we value and respect today.

We are learning and look forward to developing more to our Land Acknowledgment message to add to our lodges and information.

CRMR offers four rustic mountain properties in the Canadian Rockies – Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff, Alberta, Emerald Lake Lodge near Field, British Columbia, Deer Lodge & Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise, Alberta – as well Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch, The Lake House Restaurant and Urban Butcher in Calgary.

From the earliest days in the 1980s when we acquired Emerald Lake Lodge, we have been dedicated to ensuring that our mountain lodges and urban restaurants and shops reflect the beauty and adventure of life in Western Canada.
