Eat in Calgary, Eat in the Rockies
CRMR has three Calgary restaurants, and a variety of dining options in Banff, Lake Louise and Emerald Lake, BC.
Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts has a true passion for food. Whether you are dining at one of our three restaurants in the city of Calgary or dining at the lodges in Banff, Lake Louise or Emerald Lake, our company’s core philosophy translates throughout them all. Each of our restaurants offer a unique experience, but are unified in the promise of a really sublime dining experience featuring local produce and meats, excellent service, and carefully chosen boutique wines. We are proud to have our own game ranch on 500 acres just outside Calgary, Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch, where we raise our own bison and elk without the use of any hormones or antibiotics. All of the bison and elk on our menus are raised on our own game ranch.
Cilantro has casual, cozy and quaint atmosphere that people have grown accustomed to over the last twenty-five years. Cilantro is a seventy seat upscale casual style restaurant; with an additional fifty seat enclosed patio and veranda that is surrounded by white lights that hang from the luscious Virginia Creepers trees.
The menu, created by Chef Ken Canavan has an unconventional Californian-Southwestern flare. In addition to the set menu they offer daily and nightly features including flat bread style pizzas, homemade pastas, along with different appetizers, salads, and entrees, something to suit everyone’s tastes. Cilantro offers an ever-changing extensive wine list of 250 wines by the bottle and features up to 25 different wines by the glass.
As a modern bistro, Divino offers a comforting, pure cuisine in an upscale, warm and energetic environment. Inspired by the traditional bistros that have thrived for decades throughout New York City, Divino has merged modern décor with a comforting bistro atmosphere and cuisine. Chef John Donovan created a menu that embraces the heritage of America’s grand bistros, while still focusing on the highest quality of local products. Featuring the same wood-burning grill found at Gramercy Tavern in New York City and an extensive international cheese and wine program, Divino has successfully integrated the distinctive American bistro style into Western Canada.
Perched directly above Lake Bonavista with large glass windows overlooking the lake, guests at The Lake House will enjoy spectacular views all year round. Exuding rustic elegance, the interior is illuminated with ornate elk antler chandeliers and accessorized with a grand fireplace. A twenty one foot bar highlights the recent renovations and allows guests to enjoy a more casual lounge experience in addition to fine dining. Boasting a menu filled with Rocky Mountain Cuisine, Head Chef Thomas Neukom highlights fresh, seasonal and local produce.
